Sowell Construction is a family owned business specializing in new commercial builds, commercial remodel, and multi-family milestone repairs, as well as custom homes and large-scale residential remodel. We are certified to work in any county in the State of Florida, and our reliable and skilled team is ready to execute any project.
Owner and Licensed General Contractor, Tim Sowell, brings 39 years of construction experience to the table, including much work in the years following Hurricane Michael, helping to repair and rebuild the community he calls home. His father, Baxter Sowell, joined Sowell Construction in 2009 after retiring from the Federal Government, and his daughter, Emily, joined the company after graduating college, so he takes your project, and his family reputation, personally — which translates into integrity, honesty, and dependability.

Rich mcclatchy
ESTIMATOR | PROJECT MANAGER
Rich meets with clients and project collaborators to determine planning and design, materials lists, and cost estimates for each project. As a project moves forward, he continues to participate by remaining the main contact, as well as maintaining our project management software, which is crucial to communication. He also ensures that projects are continued, and completed, on budget.

BOOKKEEPER
Emily is responsible for managing the movement of money, and classifying all transactions in the accounts of Sowell Construction. She is also the daughter of Tim Sowell, owner and CEO.

nathan burke
SUPERINTENDENT
Nathan is responsible for overall project management and ensuring that activities on each construction site go according to project plans. This includes coordinating subcontractors, timeliness and quality control, safety checks, and providing on-site direction.

Erick works side by side with Nathan to be sure that all projects are completed to Sowell Construction standards.
